This is an image done on commission. It's of a roleplaying character that a girl had done for her friend as a birthday present. Glad I could help her out with this! I guess I'm doomed to paint vampires forever, since people seem to like how I visualize them... but there are fates much worse, indeed! Only reference used was the Sims2 Screenshots to know the design of the character, and my hand.

Not Really Alone

This is an image I did as an art/character trade with my friend Ani. You can find her over on dA as Ani-R. This is her character Ezekiel. She told me he is a bit eccentric, and also can see ghosts, though others just think he's airheaded. I took that and ran with it. This almost looks like my dorm room, as I have a large drape hanging over my window that changes the color of all the light that floods into my room. Only my drape is orange. But orange isn't quite as scary. PhotoshopCS2.

A remake of an image from 2002. I like doing remakes. They make me feel like I've actually accomplished something in the 5 years wherein I've had no life! Yep. It's my original character, Raven, from a comic of mine. I was trying to do my very best on this image, and show my current level of ability. I'd love to know what you all think, crits and otherwise. This is a Painter9 & PhotoshopCS2 joint collaboration. They work together well sometimes. It's raining blood, Hallelujah!

Guild Wars Ranger, Kiso Ahkene

This is an image that stuck in my mind, and kept pestering me until I drew it. It's of my Ranger character from Gulid Wars (MMORPG), Kiso Ahkene. He's based after my best friend, Pat Fram. I used a bit of reference in rendering the face, so that it looked as much like him as possible. And of course, reference for the armor from the in-game. The little circles on the side are meant to resemble the icons for the skills in the game. Photoshop CS only.

Tain versus the werewolf

I must be a slave to my creativity.. most of these images that are in this gallery are just ones that hit me and forced me to draw them. This another one. Tain's an original character of mine (and she is a girl, though a masculine one at that), and she has a phobia of werewolves. WIth good reason, as we can see. She usually uses a broadsword, but it seems all she has left here is a bitty knife. Something about this one.. I think it came out just as it was in my mind. Gotta love that! PhotoshopCS2.

frateroshi and Kiso Renaissance-y

Yeah my titles rock. frateroshi never capitalizes his name, so there for that. These are characters of my friend, Pat Fram, of whom I draw a lot. I just wanted to do something with a different sort of color scheme than I normally do. I went with something with more green and reds and deep browns, which gave this sort of an old oil-painting sort of feel. I used a friend of mine sitting in a chair for reference, and played with the arm-head of frat in the front... But it just would not look proper. If anyone can shed some light on that.. I'm not sure if I'll be revisiting this picture, but I'd love to know what to do better for next time. This is also my first try in doing more dynamic contrast and lighting in my images!
